  1. That’s more interesting than my visit to the supermarket! Thanks for putting labels on the items. Now we want to see the food that was prepared with the spices you bought πŸ™‚

    • Well, I think I prefer to give you some refreshing drink recipe from those ingredients, here you may try: finely grind 1 1/2 cm galingale, 2 cm turmeric. Pour 1 1/2 glass of water then strained, add 1 tbl spoon cane sugar or palm sugar will be better- boil and stir to become 1 glass and let it half cool, pour 1 1/2 tbl spoon rice flour (better self made ground rice) and stir it smoothly add a slice of lime or lemon, Lets see how does it look. this is called “Beras Kencur” as a morning drink for health and increase body scent πŸ™‚

      • you know…I forgot to mention…we have a Farmers’ Market from May to October where we have fresh vegetables, plants & flowers in season…we don’t have fruits as we can’t grow them…

    • Completely different, Dink. we don’t talk a lot with the maid at Walmart but here we usually have debates for we think of the best price!. Thank you for always revisiting my place. πŸ™‚
