    • When I came to take the first photo there was no one on the river. A Villager told me to come back at 4 pm for some more interesting attraction. Guess what is that ?… That is the routine afternoon bathing time. Surprising!, and I was fascinated by naked villagers out there. 🙂

  1. And the fruit must be delicious too. I have tasted mangosteen but not durian or cempedak. I think cempedak is a bit like Jackfruit or breadfruit which I have tried. I like breadfruit very much. And the seeds of the breadfruit, too.

  3. Absolutely beautiful. I have come back to this post a couple of times. You combined water shorts with everyday activities. The first thought that entered my mind was from Wendell Berry. Thank you!

“It may be that when we no longer know what to do,
we have come to our real work
and when we no longer know which way to go,
we have begun our real journey.

The mind that is not baffled is not employed.
The impeded stream is the one that sings.”

    • Oh My Dear, what so lovely phrases of Wendell Berry, Rebecca. I am so delighted that you always see my post deeply linked into your insight and not just look at the pictures. You see, I am always fascinated with the splendor of your words for me and other bloggers here, so special!. Wishing you and yours all the very best. Thank you.

    • Those what were in our minds too, Kathleen. As I came back at 4pm, I saw gentle people there (so many men and women, boys and girls) soaking, wading in the water unclothed whilst the children plunging from the rocks over and over. My mind flew over the water flow then dive with them. :-). Thank you very much for your kind togetherness.

  4. Not so different really – we too have small towns near rivers, roadside wildflowers, sometimes in the daisy family, fern covered tree trunks, and people selling fruit in season. Thank you for helping me see what we have in common.

    • It is so nice to know the similarity of our parts of the world, Lynn. When I go out of town for what we have in common, I always think those can be uncommon to others. Just like what you do see ordinary things with extraordinary way. I am so happy having you live in the country in mostly similar to mine and I am really fascinated by your works too. Have a great day. – muhammads
