One is At Millesgåden outdoor museum in Lindigö one of the northern islands in Stockholm, SWEDEN
Carl Milles (1875-1955) is Sweden’s most famous sculptor. He was one of Rodin’s assistants in Paris, was well-traveled and influenced by many sources, and he became an American citizen in 1945. His works can be found all over the world. Many can be seen in Millesgåden, a wonderful outdoor museum in Lindigö, one of the northern islands in Stockholm.
The man standing on a hand sculpture was made for the UN building in New York, but it was never placed there. Instead, a different Swedish sculpture was placed there. (Millesgården by Eve Andersson)
One is At Albert Campbell Square, between Ellesmere and the Scarborough, Civic Centre, Toronto, CANADA
Albert McTaggert Campbell was the first Mayor of Scarborough, Reeve, and Chairman of Toronto Metro Council. He saw and admired this sculpture in the Milles Sculpture Garden in Sweden. “The Hand of God” represented his view on life: “Man can best achieve his goals by placing himself in the Hand of God”. One is at the backyard of Presidential Palace, Bogor, West Java, INDONESIA
The sculpture is placed during the Sukarno (1st President of The Republic of Indonesia) at the backyard of the Palace facing the lush Botanic Garden. The exact time is still questioned but according to a Guide it was placed soon after the handing over West New Guinea (Irian Jaya which is currently called Papua) by the Dutch to the Republic of Indonesia (1963).

Patung ini ditempatkan pada masa Sukarno (Presiden Pertama Republik Indonesia) di halaman belakang Istana menghadap Kebun Raya yang rimbun. Waktu yang tepat masih dipertanyakan tetapi menurut seorang Pemandu (Istana) Patung itu ditempatkan tidak lama setelah penyerahan Irian Barat (Irian Jaya yang saat ini disebut Papua) oleh Belanda kepada Republik Indonesia (1963).

Hi Ann-Christine, “Bogor Presidential Palace” housing over 350 sculptures that scattered all over its vast beautiful garden. Most of them are taking Indonesian Models well worked by International famous Sculptors, like Carl Milles. One more sculpture done by Milles I recognized is “the Pegasus”. Thank you.
