Perhaps, one of the corners of your house looks very plain, no frills nothing there or maybe you don’t realize if it needs something to be placed over there, Think about it.
You try to put something over there, do wall hanging , vases, antiques or anything that you really like. The corner of your house will bring a different atmosphere and once will look more cheerful.
At my house, I usually put some frangipani flowers on dry sand in a stone bowl. When exposed to the warmth of the sun, the warming sand will spread the fragrance of frangipani flowers into the air around it and made the air around my entrance door smell freshly.
Another one is How do we make anything that is not beautiful to look more attractive.
In my garden, I found some very ugly Anthurium flowers! with all my creativity, I can make a sweet bouquet. Two Sansivieria leaves , three stalks of ugly Anthurium and unused ribbon. Then I can let it lay on anywhere at the corner.
That’s all and you can enjoy your day at home.
Cheers.

Yesa indeed..the corner that was empty ..got now a memory to keep..when you placed the flowers within a sand box..and wrote, ” Please belong to me” although I may whither and die, yet this corner of the house is mine..as a memory..as a poetry..as a gift

What good ideas and thoughts! I love the frangipani, when I was younger and travelled much more, this was a favourite tree of mine.

Thank you so much, Ann. I admire frangipani and I have three plants of them, pink, yellow and white flowers. Unfortunately the white one rarely bares flowers. I intend to replace it with another plant of the same kind.

I’m so pleased to have found your blog and to read this wonderful post- I think you are so right to remind us to take a little time to bring some more precious beauty into our life -even if it is only through small things. I didn’t know about the frangipani flowers being more fragrant when kept warm.

I am grateful you like this post, Chasspain. I found frangipani’s scent last long enough even the flowers are being dried. Thank you for visiting 🙂
