Now, my plant is five months old in the front house yard and the vine has reached the top of the trellis, replacing the two Alamandas that had been cut off by my son. That was a very irritating thing happened to me. You can imagine how most of the people passing our house always amazed by those flowers, Yellow and Maroon and the pride had gone suddenly. I was so sad for some weeks until I found this plant that called Quisqualis Indica as a substitute.
Last August, this plant bared the first flowers, just few bunches on its way up the trellis and I have written about this in my previous post. Now, at the end of October it blooms amazingly with more flowers.
In the other side of the story, the cut Alamanda have been generating new foliage and flowers aside the trellis, but I don’t let its vine found its former home. I am happy that bad story has faded away from my mind and they decorate my house yard together.
I celebrate the day with them and show them what I had here. Eating the rainbow chips.
The last picture of Allamandas on the trellis
Makan kerupuk pelangi .
They are growing so beautifully :). Your rainbow chips are the perfect way to celebrate.

Thank you very much, Gallivanta. I hope this plant will grow more faster to cover the trellis and keep propagating up to the carport.

Yes, I believe so. It is a fortune that the rainy season is coming would help it to grow faster, I guess.

She is very well growing up and enter a kindergarten nearby. Now she doesn’t stalk me a lot since having new activities at her school. I am a bit lonely without her during the weekdays. Thank you so much for asking, Gallivanta. 🙂

Maybe, but I let her to know more of her new world rather than going places with an old man like me. There are a lot of things I have forgotten about the kid’s interests. 😀

These are very beautiful flowers indeed, it was sad that your son cut the allamanda, but in a way it turned out in the best of ways possible. Thanks for sharing your story and your photos.

it was a long story to tell. He had misunderstood for what I have asked, just to cut the wild branches only then when I went home from office, those trees left one and a half meters from the ground. Yes it turned out in the best ways and it did. Thank you so much for enjoying my post. 🙂

I’ve had something similar happen when my husband “potted” my Jasmine vines leaving almost nothing!
