Never crossed in mind if the Heliconias that I planted aside my bedroom’s windows would give happiness to other beings, The Sunbirds. As you know, living in this populous town is almost impossible to see beautiful wild birds around, no wonder if I was fascinated by the presence of these tiny and delicate-looking birds in my house yard.
According to some references, this bird is called olive-backed sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis) is also known as the yellow-bellied sunbird. These tiny creatures usually nesting so close to humans. I wish they would nest here at my house.
It is a gentle reminder that we must share our living space with other species of creatures of Allah.

Pastor Davis, I notice that these birds come to these flowering plants every day at almost the same time, around 12.00 o’clock midday. I am so impressed by it’s commitment on their visit schedules. Thank you for you nice words.

I really hate this! I have been looking for at many bird shops, but most people tend to keep the birds in the cage.
